Marilu Henner has the energy that teenagers have and the knowledge to become an intelligent woman. She is the perfect woman today to do it all. She's an author and health expert presenter, talk show host, and producer. Dancer and director. Model and comedienne. But most important of all, she's an adoring mother and wife! Perpetual Motion should be her nickname. Marilu Henne's life has been a an example of how effective her health-conscious lifestyle has proven to be. She believes that good health will allow the person to be able to perform everything. But it wasn't always this way. In her teens She began a do a yo-yo diet, and saw her weight increase. The emotional weight gain made her feel sick and unwell all of the time. Her parents both passed away in their 50's - her mother suffering from the effects of arthritis and her father due to a heart attack--she knew she was required to take care of her own health so that the same fate would not come her way. This wasn't about losing weight but about health and discovering a lifestyle which maximized how our bodies were designed to function.
